Ellen Goode has been in the field of integrative bodywork therapy since 1988. She has over 2,000 hours of training in various forms of bodywork therapy, including over 200 hours of training in Ortho – Bionomy. She has been involved in the fields of addictions counseling and bodywork since 1986 and is a Certified Addictions Counselor. She also holds a certification in Bioenergetic Analysis, which is a form of Body Based Psychotherapy (this is a 4 year, mostly masters level training for certification). She has experience working with people who are recovering from addictions, childhood trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, career and self-development struggles, and many other treatment issues. She also helps people develop a more grounded sense of self and build a more comfortable, genuine capacity to express themselves.
Ellen also has a certification in the field of long term care, and is a patient advocate and consultant for families with long term care patients. As a long term care consultant, she specializes in helping families protect thier loved ones from abuse, expliotation, and neglect in all care settings. In more ideal care settings, Ellen specializes in developing integrated medical, wholistic, and constitutional care plans for long term care patients. Ellen also maintains a separate practice in hands-on integrative advanced bodywork therapy and injury rehabilitation.
